Activities in Ljungby

Here you can discover the city’s rich cultural heritage with a visit to the Sagomuseet (the Museum of Legends), where local myths and stories come to life. You can also find inspiration in the art at the Ljungberg Museum, which is dedicated to the artist couple Sven Ljungberg and Ann Margret Dahlquist-Ljungberg. Those who want to enjoy the city pulse can stroll around the city center among shops, cafes and restaurants, just a few steps from the hotel.
For nature lovers, the beautiful Lake Bolmen is within easy reach, perfect for swimming, fishing and boat trips. The city also offers plenty of opportunities for activities, with golf, paddle tennis, hiking trails and cycle paths. Throughout the year, the city is also filled with lively events – everything from markets and concerts to sporting events and cultural festivals. Whether you are looking for culture, nature or entertainment, Ljungby is a place where you can easily create memorable experiences during your stay.

A day on the golf course in Lagan combined with a 2-course dinner, overnight stay in a double room and a large breakfast buffet. Price 1495 SEK per person per night. Training
Our hotel guests can work out for free in our new gym with good cardio & strength training machines. There is also a connecting new & fresh sauna.
There are exercise trails in Kronoskogen where you can choose between loops of 1, 2.6 and 3 km.
You can enjoy walks along the Lagaån River, which runs through central Ljungby. Here, a health path has been laid out that measures 6 kilometers. Ask at the reception and they will show you the way.
Shopping
In Ljungby city center there is a wide range of good shops, please ask for tips at the reception. The shops are open until 6 pm on weekdays and until 2 pm on Saturdays. On the last Saturday of the month, it is open until 3 pm.

Culture
If you have not visited the Ljungberg Museum, it is well worth a visit. Designated as Kronoberg’s visual arts museum, it offers both Sven Ljungberg’s art and temporary exhibitors. Open Tue-Fri 12-17, Sat-Sun 12-16.
